3 Reasons for Video Marketing

In today's day and age, we have instant access to anything and everything we may question. The problem is there is so much information out there that the quickest way to get information out to your audience is via video.

1. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then video must be worth millions. In a 30 second video you can deliver far more than just information. You can show off your brand, culture, & personality. Remember, people do business with people they like. So showing off your brand's personality is key to gaining new followers.

2. I recently checked the analytics of my page. 90% of my viewers were on a mobile device, not a desktop. When people are "waiting" they are typically on their phone. It is much easier to watch a 2 minute "explainer" video than read an entire article.

3. Going viral is what we all hope to achieve...if its for the right reasons. However, many of us will never get as many views as an adorable cat video. But we can give our audience an easy way to share the information that we are providing via video. It is easier to share a video than to send someone a website to look for an article they read.

Don't get me wrong, it is still important to have to written content in websites and other advertising. But we can't forget the future, and I foresee video being the future of digital advertising. To learn more, check out one of my videos
